The New Central Visayas Regional Office

The Cebu Regional Office of Homeless Peoples Federation Philippines Inc. constructed in 1996 to cater services to all community of savers, people’s organization and meeting venues.   It is located inside the San Roque Church compound in Subangdaku, Mandaue City, Cebu.

The building originally was made of light materials like “Amakan” (made of bamboo strips) and tin plate sheets as its walling and ceiling, and corrugated GI sheets for roofing.   In December 2009, “Amakan” and tin sheets was replaced by Interlocking Compressed Earth Block (ICEB) but the roofing materials was still the same.
